Good morning Skalleagues
As
per Leighton’s email below our National Secretary and long time Christchurch
Skalleague Peter Clark suffered a stroke prior to Christmas and is currently
recovering in North Shore Hospital in Auckland. I spoke with Judy this morning
and Pete is in good spirits and recovering slowly. (in fact he wants to escape
and get back to the dry weather and real summer in Christchurch!!) He is on a
restricted visitor list (family only) however Judy is clearing his emails if
anyone wants to sent their best wishes - peterjclark@xtra.co.nz.
We will keep you up to date on Pete’s progress and his escape attempts!!

Happy New Year National Committee,
Please find attached the January Newsletter on behalf our Secretary Peter Clark. Some of you may be aware that Peter has some health issues after suffering a stroke while on holiday in Coromandel. He is currently at North Shore Hospital Auckland and according to Judy is improving slowly with his first goal to escape Hospital !!!! The club has sent our best wishes and Christchurch executive is in contact re any support that they may require.
We all wish Peter a speedy recovery.
